Decorating Pickle Jars
By Maggie from Bloomington, MN Feedback About This Post:RE: Decorating Pickle JarsI live in Abilene, TX about 2 and half hours from Dallas. I can't ever seem to find any Mary E around here. At least not at the scale you used to decorate with. By the way, Love your kitchen! These ideas were too cute! Post By CindyM56 (Guest Post) RE: Decorating Pickle JarsYep, I just wipe them down with a little spray cleaner on the sponge and they're good to go! Using Mod Podge is quick and easy..it does work as a sealer, but will turn "milky" looking if soaked in water, until it drys again. I just put some on the item, lay the fabric on it and give it a heavy coat and it's a done deal :0) You could also (depending on the item) give a a coat of two of clear spray paint, for a final coat. (Walmart, about a $1 a can) I use it on everything! Post by gardenlady58102 RE: Decorating Pickle JarsHi Maggie, Love your idea, Thanks for shareing. Will the decoupage seal the fabric? How hard will they be to clean? I am thinking that you could take a damp soapy rag to them every once in a while. Could you? I have never decoupaged. Any pointers? Thank you Post by BX Barb RE: Decorating Pickle JarsNumber 3.... Post by gardenlady58102 RE: Decorating Pickle JarsAnother one..
