Remedy for a Stinky Dog

I wrote asking for tips and have now cured the 'smelly' dog. I got a second vet's opinion re the awful smell my chocolate brown lab had. The vet diagnosed a yeast infection and prescribed an anti fungal and anti bacterial shampoo.

Shampoo twice a week for a month. After one shampoo the awful pervading smell vanished. I will continue. and finish the the treatment.

RE: Remedy For a Stinky Dog

Have you ever heard of a tomato juice bath? we hear of people here in Missouri & their pets who get "skunked" (sprayed by a skunk) & they have always said bathe afterward in tomato juice. I have never had to do this. So, I do not know. (relating rumor)

RE: Vanilla Ice Cream

Actually its me again, Jamish, I tried mixing the ingredients together, same ones, 1/2 & 1/2 , unwhipped whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk, and of course vanilla extract, you know what? Put it all in your bowl, mix it up. Put it in your freezer. I made some last night before bed, and this morning it is froze. Good stuff, didnt even use my Ice Cream maker machine. Mix it all together in a bowl, stir real good, put bowl in freezer, next morning, or later in the day, DONE. This acturally worked for me. hehehe, Im so surprised, my idea actually worked. I can usually copy other peoples ideas, and lots of times they work, but not LOTs of my ideas, but this one worked. YEA!
