Add Greens To Your Ramen Noodles

Dress up ramen noodle soup in a healthy, delicious way! Place ramen noodle soup in a bowl, just cover with water, and add your favorite greens (I especially love mustard greens). Add some soy sauce (you can use low sodium soy sauce), and cook as usual.

Delicious!

I never eat Ramen Noodles plain.
I always add vegetables and chicken or turkey.
I buy frozen vegetables on sale & use left over meat
and have a VERY inexpensive meal!

Green onions cut into thin rings and sprinkled on top of hot soup are tasty.
Bean sprouts are good for this too, raw or slightly steamed. If you happen to have bamboo shoots or other Asian-type veggies, they are great for this.
Hard-boiled eggs, cut in half, put on top of the noodles, look nice and provide protein.

What a great idea! I eat a lot of raw spinach, so this sounds like a yummy dish. Thanks for sharing!

I agree! I like to throw in tofu, spinach, shredded carrots and other extra veggies I may have on hand. Also, use extra meat that you may have such as ham, shrimp, chicken. Kids like corn, peas and carrots in theirs! It makes a more filling and yummy soup!
