Preventing White Residue At Lipline From Lip Gloss

Every time I wear lip gloss, chap stick or lip stick I get this nasty white goo at my lip line. I have never heard anyone else having this problem, how can I stop that from happening?

I stopped wearing lip gloss because my lip turns white in one area on the lip and not the lip line. I miss having winning glossy lips. What causes it on the lip itself?

It's not the lip product, it's dried saliva. You would otherwise lick your lips often enough to keep it collected. Just tiptoe to the ladies'room, tissue off the lip gloss, wash with moistened tissues, and reapply, then step out looking dewy and lovely again. I'm a dental hygienist, and believe it or not, this is a common question.

I haven't had that problem myself, but you might try a neutral lipliner -- one that matches your lip color as closely as possible, so that it's not noticeable. Draw just inside your natural lip line and then purse your lips to smudge it just a bit so it looks natural, then apply your gloss. Hope that helps!
