Spencer (Great Pyrenees)

This is a picture of my oldest baby. Spencer is a 5 yr. old Great Pyrenees. He weighs 135 lbs. and when on his hind legs, stands even with me (I'm 5'4"!) but he thinks he's a chihuahua. I got him about 3 yrs ago from a local shelter.

I think he is beautiful and looks well taken care of! We have a Great Pyrenees we were lucky to get him when we did someone adverstied him in the paper for $75.00 and we thought that was cheap .so when we went to look at him he weight only 65 lbs. We bought him anyway and brought him home its three years later and he doesn't look like the same dog Of couse we had a vet bill of $350.00 to get him back on the road to recovery but he is well worth it. We found he is very protected of our family. We love him! I wish people who don't take care of their animals should be fined!!!!!!

He is so handsome! Makes you just want want to give him a great big hug. I too, find that the best animals are the ones from shelters or the abandoned and homeless ones.
It makes one feel so good when you see the love in thier eyes.
