I used a non scratch scouring pad and a little non gel (old fashioned white) toothpaste ans the tar came right off. Post by raw1905 RE: Removing Tar From washerMy husband put clothes in my washer but now there is tar all over the agitator that spins the machine. It being plastic I'm not sure what I can use to get it out without ruining it. And I'm scared to wash our good clothes help! Post By jen (Guest Post) RE: Removing Tar From The DryerI used cooking oil to remove tar from my dryer. I ran the dryer for a few minutes to warm it. Then I rubbed the spots with a rag dipped in cooking oil. The tar came off quite easily. Post By Evelyn (Guest Post) |
