Using Leftover Tea Tree Oil

I used to use tea tree oil for cuts and scratches, it was the best. Last October a store near my house had it on sale so I bought several bottles. Around Christmas I suddenly developed an allergy to it. I got the worst rash ever. It's only just now completely gone. What can I do with the rest of it? I can't find anyone who wants it. Thrift stores around here won't take anything that is medicine. Could I put it around the windows to repel bugs? Any suggestions?

It's such fantastic stuff, too bad about your allergy. If I lived in your area I'd offer to take it off your hands. ;-)

She's right though, becasue of your allergies you can't do much with it, but you can point out its many uses to a friend and pass it on down the line.

If you tell people you know your case about having so many but you cant use it, whether it be friends or family, and you tell them the things tea tree oil is good for they might want it themselve.

You can use it directly on your skin. It can be good for infections. Bug bites. Dry scalp (just mix into your conditioner). Eczema. Acne.Nail fungus. Athletes foot.

and I'm sure if you look online that it can be used for much more.

Check your tea tree oil bottles that you're using. Are they 100% pure?

Tea tree oil is an amazing disinfectant/mildew repellant. I wiped down my newly-scrubbed-clean shower with it and the pink mildew that usually comes back within a week didn't appear again for almost a month. I also mix a tiny, tiny amount of it with water and peppermint essential oil to make an awesome mouthwash. You obviously won't want to do either of these because of your allergy, but I hope this will give you some ideas.
