RE: Crafts Using Film Reels
Thanks for all the great suggestions! I'm working on an idea to put them on the wall in a frame & will do some mobiles as well. Clocks, frames, I may try it all! i DO have access to LOTS of the actual film too, and so may work some of that in if i can keep it out of DH's trash can! I may be out of work soon, so will have more time to play with this, will post pics when I can. Guess what all my relatives are getting for Christmas this year? :D ... View related article.

RE: Altering Men's T-shirts for a Woman

RE: What To Harvest From Your Flower Garden
Many other flowers have seeds hidden in their dried heads, such as zinnias.
I also harvest seeds from any flower that produces a brown seed pod, such as lady's slipper or touch-me-nots. You can save the whole pod or carefully break it open on one end and tap out the tiny black seeds. I save the seeds in reused plastic jars (such as peanut butter) in the refrigerator. The cool temp. keeps the seeds more viable for spring planting. Just scatter the seeds wherever you want plants!
don't forget to save the seeds from your dill flowers as well! ... View related article.
