Dogs can get yeast infections in their ears. We had a Maltese that often would get it. It was diagnosed by a vet and they advised a weak solution of vinegar and lukewarm water and applied into the ear canal with a medicine dropper. If the dog is a purebred with a pedigree it should have come wit6h papers from one of the kennel clubs. A pedigreed dog is one who's ancestry is known and documented through a kennel club. If the dog does not have papers, I would seriously doubt that it has a real pedigree. H absolutly looks like black and tan coonhound (check the breed on the net, that's the name of the breed). I have one and he's a wonderful dog. My experience with cats is that they may stay in heat or go out of heat for a short time,but they will come back into heat unless they are spayed or get pregnant (if she gets out even once while in heat you will be having kittens).
