| RE: Child is Forgetting Their Homework |
Most teachers will send you the homwork assignments via e-mail if you ask. We had this problem with our daughter and so we checked in with the teacher a lot to make sure the assignments were being done. Taking phone privlages and MP3 player worked too.
Our son however we take video games/TV away. It depends on the child as to what you can use for leverage to make them remember. ... View related article. |

| RE: "Dream Pet" Likes Husband Better |
|
Your husband needs to pick the puppy out and bring it home then take care of it until they bond. My husband picked his out and he took care of her for the most part in the beginning so she knew she was his. When I brought my little girl home a year ago we did the same and she is all mine. We both now take care of them and play with them but they still know who they belong too. Training is a good idea too for bonding. ... View related article. |

| RE: Help With 7 Year Old Picky Eater |
|
When I met my husband his son was 5, he's now 9, he ate hotdogs, macaroni and cheese, toasted cheese, apples, bananas and dry cereal, but liked most deserts. He didn't fight with him but made what he wanted, we have them 50% of the week. I refused to make several different dinners and so we tried everything to get him to try new foods. The thing that works the best was choice nights. Everyone has a night to pick dinner and everyone has to eat what that person chooses. If he doesn't at least give it a good try then he looses his night and there is no snack after dinner. I think that has happened 3 times. Some foods he had the choice to try and those he loves the most ie: bacon and pineapple. He looks forward to picking what he wants which is usually toasted cheese or pizza but he now has a much larger list of foods he likes and it keeps growing. Hope this helps. ... | RE: My Cat Is Always Hungry |
|
My vet told me that the cats will get fatter on dry food than wet food. One of my two cats has a problem with not drinking enough so he has to have wet food or he thows it up. I give them one can of food in the morning to share and one at dinner time to share. Before I go to bed they get some dry food, maybe 1/3 cup and this will take him through until morning. If I know I might not get home in time for dinner time I will give them a little dry for during the day. But my male is always begging to be fed and they have always been fed this way. I think it's a male thing, his sister never begs. I had a male dog that was the same way but our female just eats what she wants and couldn't care about it. ... View related article. |

| RE: Getting a Civil Service Job |
The library should have books and you might find sample test of the web site of the county/state you are taking the test for. The entry level jobs you might not need to study for as they are usually easy but if going for somthing higher up I suggest studying. The books at the library will also have sample test and that part is important to look at.
Good luck. ... View related article. |
