RE: Kittie And Buster (Cat and Dog Mixed Breeds)
They are so cute! Rescues are the best, aren't they? :)
These two are my favorites on ThriftyFun for sure!! ... View related article.

RE: Potty Training an Abused Dog
My best advice to you is to be patient with him. My boy Chance (pictured) was also terribly abused (who could hit that pretty face?). It took me a good 6 months to fully potty train him as an adult, because even talking sternly to him scared him to death. It took a lot of positive reinforcement (treats, pats on the head, and his favorite- hugs) when he did go potty outside. He did finally get the hang of it though. Don't give up- your little guy just doesn't understand yet. ... View related article.

RE: Rabbits, Rabbits and More Rabbits!
That's a lot of bunny facts! :)
I had a sweet Rex rabbit when I was a kid (Baxter). He was much more like a dog than a rabbit- when I was winding down for the day I'd let him out of his cage and he'd jump up onto the couch with me. It sure caught my dad off guard the first time he saw me watching TV with my bunny! Thanks again for sharing all the neat facts. ... View related article.

RE: ALDI Food Brands
I have an Aldi in the same town where I do my grocery shopping, and we decided to try it the other week for a change of pace. All I can say (and maybe not every store is like this) is yuck. The cream of chicken soup had a burnt taste, even in the microwave. The grapes had mold, and some other veggies had little bugs on them. The only things that were ok were milk and cheese- the block kind, not sliced. Their brand of soda is a good deal, though. We aren't a picky family (we love sav-a-lot) but this stuff was just horrible, and we'll never shop there again. *P.S.- we did complain about the bugs in the produce section- the manager told me that he advises just washing anything before eating. Wish I could be of more help, but we had a poor experience with this store. ... View related article.

RE: Golf Balls and Tees for Soldiers
If I was doing this, I would try a new & used sports equipment store. They often sell big bags of used golf balls for a couple dollars. Perhaps they would donate some. Best of luck :) ... View related article.

RE: What Breed is My Dog?
I did a google image search on pekingese/chihuahua mixes, and your dog looks a lot like them! Hope this helps! :) ... View related article.

RE: Bruno (Rotti/Chow Mix) and Loosey (Burmese Mtn. Mix)
They are gorgeous dogs! Loosey reminds me a lot of my Aussie mix, Chance (see pic). He was also a rescue and shares a similar pumpkin orange coat! (all though he looks a little "blonde" in this pic!). ... View related article.

RE: Craft: Converted Coffee Table Display Case
Wow! How creative! I was looking for a creative way to display momentos from our wedding- this is perfect! I will now be hunting yard sales and thrift stores for a similar coffee table. Thanks! :) ... View related article.
