RE: Saving My Plants from Japanese Beetles
I am the one who said not to use those bags!
They draw beetles to the bag.
So if your neighbor has beetles they will come over to your house because the scent in the bag is drawing them in.
Now you not only do you have beetles coming from your yard but the neighborhoods also. ... View related article.

RE: Saving My Plants from Japanese Beetles
I have heard from more than one person, don't use those bags!!! Unless you give it to your neighbor as a gift. I have the same problem. I to went to the store and bought special spray and although it seems to be working somewhat it is not taking them all away. So I got a bucket with some soap and water in it and started walking around my yard, finding them and dropping them into the water. That really seems to be doing the trick. Although, I must warn you it is addictting. I am outside 2 or 3 times a day with my bucket picking beetles.
Good luck!! ... View related article.

RE: Harvesting Dill Seeds
Just a suggestion. I don't just use the seeds when I make pickles. I use the whole thing, stems and all. I simply cut the dill small enough to put into a jar. There is a lot of flavoring in a dill plant. ... View related article.

RE: I Can't Afford School Clothes
I found a website called,"Freecycle". http://www.freecycle.org
They are located all over the world. The first thing you need to do is look up your state, then the closest area to where you live. Then you give something away anything and after that you can post whatever you need. If you need nice clothes for a girl, post wanted girls clothes size 10 or whatever. Then people respond. It is a great program that lets people recycle things instead of throwing them out.
I just got a swingset for my kids. I had to drive about 15 minutes to get it.
Let me know what you think if you go to the site. ... View related article.

RE: Crafts Using Washcloths
Get a bar of soap and gather it up, or wrap it up so that you have 2 ears. You will hold them with either a ribbon or a rubber band. You will use the base/soap for the face. You can use wiggly eyes. and a cotton puff for the nose. You can also make a reindeer if you get brown piper cleaners and attatch them to the ears.

RE: Breed Information: Greyhound
I have had Greyhounds for the last 12 years and they are the only breed of dog for my family.
I have 4 children ranging in age from4 years to 18 years. They are extremely gentle. They do love to play and will play but when you are done they are.
I homeschool my son and I am home all day long, most of the time the dog just lays on somebodies bed. I really hardly ever know I have a dog. Some people think that they are not watch dogs but they can be.
If you are ever considering getting a dog please consider adopting a Greyhound. There are many and many that need a home.
And they will know you saved them and they will love you forever and ever.
In loving memory of Henry and Bunny who lived respectively to be 13 and 14 years. ... View related article.
