RE: Getting Rid of Possums
I had a possum problem where I used to live and altho I can't give you any good suggestions I can tell you I found out many states have laws about what you can do! We wanted to live trap and relocate it and found our state(IN) only allows you to relocate one 50 feet, which was no help at all. I would check your local laws before acting. ... RE: Black and Decker Gizmo Wall Caddy
I went to eBay and there are 2 with the wall caddy's listed! It's a shame you have already purchased yours. In case you want to purchase a back up and have your caddy here is the link and if it doesn't work just search for your post title.

RE: Freezing Baking Soda and Baking Powder
jrslady is correct! I have kept my baking soda & powder in the freezer for years. It's a shame to go to all the trouble to bake a scratch recipe and have all your hard work ruined for lack of storing your ingredients properly. I also store my Bisquick, flours and cornmeal in the freezer. ... View related article.

RE: Re-shaping a Leather Jacket
I found this on Yahoo Answers, hope it works for you!
Use the narrow end of your ironing board to drape the coat over. Heat the leather with a blow dryer on moderate heat and gently manipulate the leather flat and then place heavy books on it. You may have to repeat the process (it took me 3 times of doing this), but they eventually lay flat.

RE: Yellow Stains on Tablecloth
Go to greatcleaners.com and find Oxyclean Baby Soak, no I don't have any connection or interest in this product! It is just the best thing out there for soaking stains out of anything even old ones. I haven't found any store that carries it but it's well worth having on hand. I belong to the auto ship club as I use it regularly to keep my whites bright without causing damage to fabric's as bleach does. I have yet to see any stain this can't get out! Even if you have to use cold water which is about all I ever use this product will work. I just put my whites or any color that need work in my washer and let it soak overnight in the Baby Soak and then in the morning finish the cycle. My white's come out looking virtually brand new! ... RE: Wrinkled Polyester Tablecloth
Here is Heloise's tip for a pair of slacks & should be the same for a table cloth:
Overloading the washing machine and dryer or not using the correct cycle usually causes this problem. Try putting the slacks back into the washer and using the permanent-press cycle. Then toss them into the dryer and set the control for about 15 to 20 minutes on permanent press. A heat and cool-down period should help to eliminate the wrinkles. Take them out of the dryer as soon as the cycle stops and hang them as soon as possible. If this doesn't work, here's another method to try: Dampen the pants with water, then, using a pressing cloth, iron out the wrinkles.

RE: Wrinkled Polyester Tablecloth
I agree with OliveOyl, sometimes polyester comes out best from a trip through the dryer. Be sure to use the cycle with cool down, remove and hang immediately. When you wash in hot water the spin puts the wrinkles in as the fabric is hot and it takes the hot dryer to relax them. ... View related article.

RE: Removing Grease Stain on Battenberg Lace Tablecloth
I have two suggestions both of which have never failed me in removing even old grease based stains. If you have a Walmart or Dollar Store pick up a bottle of Mean Green and try this on your stain full strength follow with washing in very hot water. If your worried about shrinking, put the stain over a large bowl and stretch tight. Pour boiling hot water through the stain and work with a soft brush. It might take several tries.

Also go to greatcleaners.com and find the Oyxclean Baby Soak. This stuff is magic! I can get very yellowed and stained articles clean with Baby Soak and am on the auto ship program with it, I couldn't imagine being without it as it works so much better than the reg. Oxyclean. I haven't ever been able to find it in stores but it's worth mail ordering. Between these you should be able to save your table cloth. Good luck and I hope you let me know through posting here if this worked. ... View related article.
