Thanks for the homemade frozen pizza idea! Would you please explain what you mean by "cook the crust up half way". For example, do you mean that you essentially bake the crust but just not enough to brown it? Does the crust hold its shape when half baked? Is it still doughy in the middle? Etc. etc, thanks. ... This works great for a freezer too, especially a deep freeze that's full. Tape the list on the outside of the freezer door along with a pen or pencil (so it won't run away!) Using coloured bags helps me find items in my freezer too. For example, fish and seafood in a blue transparent recycling bag. Fruit in a clear bag. Veggies in a green transparent bag... etc. ... Cleaning with baking soda before the sunlight treatment helps too.
Another thing that helps keep a cooler fresh is to store it open to allow air flow. If the top comes completely off, store the top in (not on) the cooler. If the top is hinged, wedge it open just a crack, with something the thickness of a pencil or skewer for example. ... View related article. |
