if you only knew how many things (including luggage) our well one of our 8 cats peed on! vinegar is the only thing that will get rid of the odor and then let it set outside for a while. the cardboard bottom is rough..can you slit the seam to remove it and then "glue" the seam later? thought about putting a cork...lol lol also, put your luggage in large garbage bags to protect them ... Ask that they make a "gift". Something even baked, or like cookie dough in a large mason jar to freeze (get the cooking instructions, though lol lol).
