RE: Need Beef Pot Pie Recipe to Feed 50
Hello, I don't have a recipe, but if you put
Beef Pot Pie for a crowd, in your search engine
you could probably find one.

RE: 4 Year Old That Cries a Lot
Thanks guys for all the wonderful feedback. It makes me feel a lil better knowing I'm not the only one experiencing this behavior. When my Granddaughter is here with me I give her my undivided attention and she helps me out too. She'll set the table, help me cook, feed the cats etc. I too think this crying is something she has learned to get what she wants especially from Mommy and Daddy. It doesn't work with me, but it bothers me when she does try it, I think I will start ignoring or going into the other room and tell her when she decides to stop crying I will come back in.

Tonight we were over the kids and she wanted her Mom to swing her around. Her Mom told her no that she had a headache and didn't want to do that. Of course she started crying and when I was leaving I told Mom don't you do it. So I don't know if she ended up doing it or not. I hope not.

Thanks again for the feedback. ... View related article.

RE: Freezing Apples for Smoothies
Last Thanksgiving I made an apple pie and had way too many apples. So I put them in a freezer bag and tossed em in the freezer. I added nothing. They turned a lil brown but nothing to be concerned about. Then in January I used them to make a pie. I didn't know what to do cause they were frozen. So I nuked them just a lil to help them come apart added my spices, butter, a lil flour and put them in my pie shell. It turned out really good. yum yum. I think next time I freeze some apples I'll go ahead and add the spices, when I freeze them. ... View related article.

RE: Watering Tomato Plants Underground
Bev this is a neat idea. Think I'll give it a try. Nothing like home grown tomato sandwiches. Yum Yum.

RE: Easy Crabcakes Recipe
Look in your grocery store for OLD BAY seasoning. The recipe should be on the back of the can. You can serve cole slaw and you can also make your crabcakes and serve them on a roll with tartar sauce.
You don't really have to use crab to make your cakes. I've boiled fresh Rock and made fishcakes instead. Yum Yum.
Ester's recipe sounds pretty good too. I think I'll give it a try. ... View related article.

RE: Freezing Meat - How Many Times Can You Freeze It?
Gee, Thanks guys for the information. I wish I knew this a few years back when we had a snow storm and electric was out for 4 days and everything in freezer thawed. I could have refroze it, instead of having porkchops for breakfast. LOL. Like I said, I was always told once thawed you can't refreeze unless you cook it. But, if I understand as long as it's still cold you can refreeze raw meat, right? OK thanks again.

RE: How Do You Get Clay Cat Litter Out of the Toilet?
Oh My what a mess. There's a couple of things I can think of. 1. Rent a snake from a rental store and run it down the toilet. Hopefully it will run the stuff on into your septic. Tell guy at the rental store what going on and he might be able to give you some ideas. 2. Call rotorooter and ask them if they would give ideas of what to do. I hope it wasn't a whole lot, if it was might have to have septic pumped out once you've flushed it on thru.
Good Luck. Let us know what you end up doing and if it works. ... View related article.
