Sandra - I wanted to say thanks for including a picture with your idea. When you said "milk cartons" all I could think of was paper milk cartons and I couldn't figure out how you were doing that with paper cartons. Now I fully understand. Thanks again. ... View related article.
I also had a ton of beautiful gift bags and I had no where to put them. As friends occasionally came over I would drag them out and say help yourself. I was always amazed at how grateful people were to get them. (In our family I usually do gift cards, too.)
I don't do scrapbooking, but could you like cut around flowers, or children or Santa and use them in scrapbooking? ... View related article.
Thanks for the reply Aysha. I was a little afraid of the slipperyness factor. I have to be careful because I fall anyway so I don't need anymore help with it. LOL
I think it is Gerber that now puts their baby food in rectangular plastic containers with snap on lids. They are great for keeping my beads in and are clear so I can see through them and see what's inside. I also have one in my sewing box to hold the little things that seem to get lost in there.
Thank you so much for this idea. I was needing something that I could do for several friends but that wouldn't cost a whole lot. This would be wonderful. Thanks again.
I have some address labels like what you are talking about. I use them on my CD's that I burn to keep up with what is on which CD as well as on my VHS tapes for the same reason.
My first thought when I saw these was heck I could sure use some of those. LOL I make some jewelry and was thinking that those look like they would come in handy for wrapping some of my wires around.
Also you could run a string or a piece of jute through a couple and hang it from a door knob for your kitty cat to play with.
Someone else suggested giving them to a daycare. If you have kiddos the might also enjoy threading these onto string or some type of cord to make "jewelry". This also helps to improve their dexterity with their fingers.
