Since we live 45 miles to the nearest big grocery store, I do monthly grocery shopping ( especially with the price of gas) I make a menu up also, but it is for the month. Same concept, 1 gallon vinegar, 1 cup salt, 4 tabl of dish detergent, shake each time of use and spray on the weeds, being careful not to put on grass, instant killer.
Have never tried this , but have read somewheres that by adding a peeled, raw potatoe ( chunks) that it helps absorb the salt. Hope that will help you Joy ... View related article.
