| RE: Cold Sore Remedy |
I asked at the health food store that I go to regularly and my friend who works there swears by something called IPSAB. It is made by Heritage Products and available at health food stores. You can use it every few days as a mouthwash as prevention or on a q-tip or finger 2x day until gone. It is supposed to be good for the cold sores outside and the mouth ulcers inside as well as the gum disease that makes your teeth loose. My daughter and grandaughter both get them really bad and they think that this works.

Aggression Cookies
Recipe By : Serving Size : 180 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Cookies Desserts
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 tbsp Baking soda 3 c Brown sugar 3 c Flour 3 c butter 2 Eggs 6 c Oatmeal
She said it is a Peg Bracken recipe, and Peg stated "However, these are the best-tasting as well as the fastest, easiest and cheapest cookies I ever ran into, and I wouldn't say such a thing unless I meant it. The Community Mental Health Center at St. Lawrence Hospital in Lansing, Michigan, printed it, in the hope of channeling some energies away from throwing bricks, or snarling at Santa Claus. The more you knead, mash, squeeze and beat the bejunior out of the dough, the better you feel and the better the cookies taste. Moreover, the recipe is easy to cut down. (As is, makes 15 dozen.) Put all this in a huge bowl and mash, knead, squeeze, (see above). Then form it into small balls, midway between filbert size and English walnut size, on an ungreased cookie sheet. Butter the bottom of a small glass, dip it in granulated sugar and mash the balls flat. Keep doing it. You need butter the glass bottom only once or twice, but re-dip it in sugar for each ball. Then bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 min. I found you need to let them sit just a bit before taking up from the cookie sheet. We also cooked them for the 12 min. You need some space between them if you make them any bigger cause they tend to spread out. ... View related article. |

| RE: Toilet Plunger |
|
I learned a few years ago when we built a new house that the best way to keep from plunging is to teach my family that if there is something except liquid in the toilet then you hold down the handle until the bowl is empty! It works like a charm. It took a while to teach my dds and dh to do this but.............................no more overflowing toilets. ... View related article. |

| RE: Oft Forgotten Germ Catcher |
|
Changing your toothbrush makes good sense but at what point do you do that. If you do it too early, your new toothbrush has old germies. If you do it too late, you are putting old germies back in your mouth. I keep 2 toothbrushes. I alternate & soak one in peroxide then let dry. The other one is soaked in mouthwash & used that day. The next day I switch them to make sure that I get as few germies as possible. I also have been known to put my toothbrushes in the dishwasher with some Clorox when everyone is passing bugs around my house. Do you think that this is overkill? ... View related article. |

| RE: Making Cheap Candles last longer |
One way to make your candles last longer is to make sure that they are level when you burn them. Sometimes the bottoms of cheap candles are rounded. Another thing that you can do is to make sure that you extinguish them correctly. Never blow out a candle! The wax gets blown down one side and then it will not burn evenly. Use a large spoon upside down or a special candle snuffer to gently snuff out the candle. Don't put candles near open windows, fans or vents either. Keep wicks trimmed and of course candles that have been kept in the freezer (sealed in wrap or foil) do burn longer. Ellen ... View related article. |
