I don't have a clue, but my nephew recently adopted a lost dog and took it to the vet for shots, etc. The vet said that now they will do a DNA test on your dog (for about $50) so you can know its breed. Neat, huh? This service is in San Antonio, TX; not sure where else it is offered. Call around. Pretty dog! ... View related article.
To answer your question, Lauramac...if you had to return something to Walmart, would you recall which MONTH you bought it in? Me neither, that's why this suggestion works great. Like some others here have mentioned, a 13-month hard-plastic file works great for us gals-on-the-go. Use the alphabet labels that come with it, but put all your favorite grocery store receipts in the front; put all the Walmart ones in the back. All others are by alphabet, such as Sam's Club, Payless Shoes, etc. File to the back of each secion; keep the file where you LIVE...you know...your CAR! File receipts as soon as you get back in the car and it will keep your purse neat and life almost-carefree! Get a new one each year; they are cheap at Walmart in the Office supply section. Already bought mine for '09! Happy new year, Ya'll. ... View related article.

Pamela, your suggestions bring back good memories for me! My sis and I used to cringe when Mom would put red and green bows and ribbons on the living room lampshades for Christmas.....and now we find ourselves doing the exact same thing! "Mirror, mirror on the wall; I am my Mother after all!!!" Merry Christmas, ya'll. Jeanette from South Texas ... View related article.
Shelly, we've ALL made the same-old-stuff for bake sales....here's a new idea: there is the neatest website from a gal named Kaylin (I think), and she sells different little cookbooks that you download on your computer....all kinds of mixes in jars, etc. One of them is a really neat cookbook that has little mixes that you make up, put in ziplocks, and then wrap up with all kinds of different bandanas (pony-tail style) that you can buy at Walmart. I have always wanted to buy one for my niece who is an elem. teacher; they sound so neat and different. Kaylin's free daily newsletter offers a sample of her recipes plus a forum where others send in requests. You will love it: http://www.realfood4realpeople.com/ Good luck! Jeanette ...
