RE: Faster Baked Potatoes
If you don't want your potatoes baked in the microwave, put them in the oven with a cleaned nail stuck through them. The nail will absorb the heat and cook the potato faster. It really works, but make sure you clean the nail good and save it in a plastic bag for future use. ... View related article.

RE: Organizing a Church Dinner Party
Let the people who are bringing the food of their nationality bring some decorations from that country. Have them write their names on the bottom if possible and then they can be returned to their rightful owner.

Another way to avoid lines is to designate tables where people sit as a different country. For example, a table from Mexico, one from France, etc. You can either let people sit at the country of their choice, or you can give them a paper as they come in with the countries name and they sit there. People don't get to sample other countries, but it sure helps in the long lines. The food is brought to that table and served family style. ... View related article.

My husband suggested that I use the tablecloth. Luckily I was able to find some areas that were not ruined and made a beautiful valance for our window. ... View related article.

RE: Buying Pop Up Camper Curtains
If you can sew, make them out of sheets. This is very easy as you can take advantage of all the hems. Make an open border at the top and slide it onto a thin rod. Cut to the length you want. I have made many curtain with sheets (and there are many designs out there). ... View related article.

RE: Craft: Doily Display
My mother had an old beaded purse that was her mother's and it just sat in a drawer, year after year. After my mother passed I got the purse and put it in a drawer. One year I looked at it and thought that it made no sense to keep it in a drawer so I had it framed in a shadow box fame and it is beautiful hanging on my wall. Now everyone can enjoy it. ...
