RE: Repairing Umbrellas
Don't know how to repair it but I saw the cuteset shower centerpiece made from an umbrella, covered with lace. That's one way to recycle. ... View related article.

RE: Upscale Baby Shower Food and Decoration Ideas
Thanks for the Rubber Duck themes for a baby shower. Don't know if the person who asked will use your ideas but I will. I'm having a shower for a niece in July and now I can go ahead and get things together. I submitted an article on baby showers not long ago with one for my Daughter-in-law. It had some ideas for things I did to fill her a keepsake box and a little bonnet with a poem. Maybe it's still on there. Incidently, the bonnet idea was done for my niece who's now in her 30's. I LOVE keepsakes. ... View related article.

The reason I asked about the clinic which did repeats,I saw on one of the talk shows about a clinic and I can't remember the name of it or where. Seems like it may have been on Dr. Phil. If anyone saw this and may have written it down or have it on tape please let me know. ... View related article.

RE: Remembering Birthday Cards and Anniversaries
After our sister organized a family birthday calender with birthdays 4 of us began to send on a regular basis. One thing I did was like the other reader was to buy cards ahead and address them. In order to remember what day it is to be sent by, I write the date where the stamp goes. That way I can just about hit right on the date to be delivered ... View related article.

RE: Where in the World Do I Even Start to Get Organized?
In my opinion the key element to getting organized and STAYING ORGANIZED is DISCIPLINE!! When you use something --put it back. When you get up from the table--tackle the dishes--when you get out of bed --make it up. Then THINK of how GOOD it feels to walk into a clean kitchen or to come home to a freshly made bed and to know WHERE to find something when you need it!! A habit I've tried to enforce is to do 1-2 loads of laundry a day. Usually if I follow this routine I can keep things caught up. After all MOMS--- if YOU don't do it---WHO WILL??? ... RE: Restoring a Wedding Bouquet
Why would you want to restore it? If this were my wedding bouquet I'd buy a clear glass or plastic box to put it in and keep it forever, or better still a small MEMORY BOX with little momento, napkin, etc from my wedding. In my glass covered memory box I have things from my Mom and Dad's 50th anniversary and even dried roses from their funerals. To change the origional bouquet would defeat the purpose ok keeping it. ... RE: Reception Ideas: Lunch for 100 People
I catered a wedding for an acquaintence and set my price at $250.00. Here's what I served: 200 Ham Biscuits, 96 mini croissants with Tuna salad and chicken salad,2 LARGE fruit trays with extra refill 2 LARGE Vegetable trays with refill ranch dip, dill dip ,fruit dip and pineapple fruit dip, chocolte fondue and a few added things like mexican dip and tortillas, 2 crockpots of bbq meatballs and lg batch of sausage balls. Enough to fill an 8 foot table twice. Had to comparison shop for best prices and do all my cooking, cutting and make from scratch rather than buy ready made but I stayed within my budget. She was so pleased she paid me an extra $250. MY POINT: Receptions don't HAVE to cost a fortune if you watch your Ps and Qs.
