Hmmm... Maybe have the boys in red and white (santa type :p) sweat suits or at least somewhat co-ordinating colors and little sweat bands on their foreheads... I'd probably use some big wrapping paper rolls and sorta do a quick paper-mache job over them to make them look like a candy cane, paint it with red and white stripes and hang a little card board sign off it that says "Finish Line" or something like that. You could dress up like an elf or reindeer or something with a whistle and be the "judge" ... ... View related article.
I googled it, and this was the best answer I could find. Hope it helps. Remember to ALWAYS spot test in an inconspicuous place.
Microfiber, by its very nature, is stain resistant. As a result, stain products like Scotch Guard or other fabric protection materials are usually unnecessary with this type of sofa. For general cleaning, though, a drop or two of mild detergent, like dish soap or laundry detergent, combined with a bit of water should clean your microfiber sofa in no time. Odors like urine can be easily eliminated by blotting the stain with white vinegar and distilled water, applying baking soda, then vacuuming. For the most part, cleaning will be an easy process if it is true microfiber. Imposter materials, though, may be more difficult to clean.
The majority of microfiber sofas use polyester as the base fabric because it has the ability to absorb color better than other materials. As a result of this chemical process, the color is forced to stay in the fiber, and no other treatments will ever be necessary. It may be necessary to occasionally have your microfiber sofa steam cleaned. It is fairly safe, but a professional cleaning service might not only do the best cleaning job, but also do the best job of protecting your microfiber sofa. Finally, to clean lint from your sofa, a simple lint roller (the kind that is sticky) should be the best option. Vacuuming might help in some cases as well. ... View related article.
According to my "Computer Geek" friends and husband, the best thing to do is to try just a really soft, damp (with water) cloth (the cloth type baby wipes work wonders too) and lightly rub the screen. Don't apply pressure and don't use anything abrasive as either of those things can cause damage. If after this there are still marks on your screen, you can use a solution of 1 part 20% rubbing alcohol to 2 parts water. Basically you're just looking for a highly diluted solution. 25% windex to the rest water would work also. Hope this helps. ^_^ ... View related article.
You're right. Thats a great way to fill up a stocking and get the kids involved. We go there a lot, we only have two kids, but living on a limited income we have to get creative as well. I get a lot of my extra Christmas decorations and all of my wrapping paper and gift bags there. The quality isn't any worse and it sure beats spending $5/6 or more on something you'll really only use once. ... View related article.
Well...Since your child will be dancing in it, I'd say use a brown sweat suit or a brown turtle neck and leggings for the body. Then he/she could wear black tap shoes and wear black gloves for "hooves". Paint their nose with red or black Halloween face paint (or even use regular make-up) and for the antlers:
Look online for a picture of "antlers", using a sharpie sorta draw out the basic shape on some tan or brown felt then cut those out. Sew around all but the last two inches and stuff with fluffing to make it sorta roundish looking, then finish sewing. Glue those to a head band and you've got your self a reindeer with VERY minimal sewing effort. Instead of sewing the antlers, you could even use that "Stichwitch" stuff I've heard about. Makes a hem with fabric glue I think... ... View related article.
