RE: Planning Weddings on a Budget
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! My husband and I were married this past summer and were very frugal. Most of our decorations and favors came from the local dollar store. They have a craft section with some beautiful stuff that doesn't look cheap. Candles are a very cheap but elegant decoration. I printed our invitations myself. I bought an invitation kit at Walmart in the clearance section. My flowers were real roses, but I didn't go through a florist. I went to Sam's club and grocery stores and bought them and my mom arranged the bouquets. They turned out fabulous and looked professionally done. You don't really need wedding favors. We had them and most of them sat right on the tables after all the guests had left. For your dress and everyone's clothing I would shop thrift shops and consignment. I don't know how many people you plan to invite but your food is probably going to be the most expensive. Depending on the time of day maybe you could just do a cake and punch reception. Above all a wedding is a celebration and joining of familys. I would include all of your children in some way. Make your day personal. I hope this has helped somewhat. ... View related article.

RE: Daughter-In-Law Won't Accept Used Items
I am a first time mother and my daughter is outfitted in mostly used clothing. I have no problem with it at all. But if your dil does I would respect her wishes. If she does not want anything used I would buy things new that are within your budget. Shop the Clearance racks and discount stores like walmart, family dollar etc. The more important thing would be to shower your grandkids with love and time not gifts. I don't remember what my grandmother got me as a gift 10 years ago, but I do remember making christmas candies with her! ... View related article.

RE: Bedwetting Help
I would suggest taking him to the Dr. My aunt, my stepbrother and I all had trouble with bedwetting when we were young. During each of our childhoods we were all diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes. There may be a connection your child. Mention it to your Dr. and have him check all possible causes. Remember this is very embarrassing for him, so please do not get angry when it does happen. ... RE: Luau Wedding Rehearsal
Watch the movie Runaway Bride with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. They have a Luau for their rehearsal dinner also. It might help with the decor. When I think of Hawaiian food I think pig roast and pineapple. Maybe a pineapple upside down cake. Hope the movie suggestion works for you! ... View related article.
