RE: A Guide To Household Recycling
Recycling doesn't have to be hard. I have one bin-all cans, plastics & glass go together. They are all in one big dumpster at the local recycling center. I rinse the stuff out, and put it in the bin. When it's full, I take it to the center.

Each city is different, so see how it's done in your area. You don't need a bunch of bins, imo. ... View related article.

RE: Cleaning a Laundry Line
Honestly, I'd just replace it. Nothing worse than hanging out clean clothes, and having them come in stained! I buy my line at the dollar store. I get the nylon coated wire, so I can easily wipe it down. ... View related article.

RE: Some Stores Banning Plastic Bags

I shop every 2 or 3 weeks for a family of 4 with a lot of pets. I don't find it to be any more work, and it's a lot less trips from the car to the house. They don't rip or break open!! The only problem I've run into is the cashiers at Wal-Mart tend to be very close-minded about using them, they seem to be bothered by them. So I've started going to a smaller local store-and the employees there think they are great. ... View related article.
