I've found that in time the best bed sags a bit in the middle if it is bigger than a single, so I build a leg for the center. First I put 1/2 inch boards across under the box spring (3 works best) then add a leg under the middle one. If you are using pure cotton fabric you can boil the tea towels etc. in lye. That is what was used in the old days. Be sure you have an open window or do it outside. ... View related article.

I had both wrists operated on for carpel tunnel..At that time they casted to the finger tips. I dug out the old electric knife and taped the carrot peeler to the tap so I could drag the veg's across it.
