| RE: Saving Money on Valentine's Day |
What I'll be doing this year is I get a box of silk rose petals (under $2.00) at a craft, #1.00, Walmart or Target store. They come in colors other than red too. For ambiance, light a beautiful candle and spread a dusting of petals on your bed. For a pretty theme, add a few petals on the dining room table for decoration with a home-cooked Valentine's meal. Petals add a little mystery...If you want them scented, spray lightly your favorite perfume to each petal before displaying them on your bed. Make a trail of petals up the stairs...perfect for romance! So, have fun this Valentine's Day! Even on a budget! :) ... View related article. |

| RE: Rustic Outdoors Themed Wedding |
You can go to a local school supply or art store and get rolls of *white paper* to use on tables (crab/lobster style bakes) and food gets dumped on to the table and people can eat right off of it. Rustic, simple and finger lickin' fun! Easy clean-up and easily replaced when needed. Or make it a *Buffet style* using one long train of a table(using the same theme) and hand out paper plates/cutlery/napkins and people take what they want. Plus... Have them bring their own lawn chairs! :) ... View related article. |

| RE: Permanent Marker in Hair |
Your child sounds most creative! To help, you can use a *stripping shampoo* (Neutrogena makes one) for when you have a build-up of residue from chlorine, hairspray, mud or old shampoo and conditioners that leave a film on your hair etc. When using this type of clean shampoo, it'll cleanse deep and brings back that natural luster and shine. I am sure this would be helpful with your *marker* issue. Good luck! :) ... View related article. |

| RE: Deodorant Makes My Underarms Itchy |
I have been a faithful Crystal Deodorant/Spray user for 20+ years! The very best and healthy to use. I use to get very irritated rashes with the aluminum based deodorants and feeling clogged in my armpits and in my pores. I will never go back to using any product like that ever again. Should you have a bad rash, use a Aloe plant leaf and expel the gel on the sore area, or for the need of clinical use Neosporin or Hydracortizone on the area. Take a baking soda/oatmeal bath to help the healing process. Good luck...:) ... View related article. |

| RE: Using Petroleum Jelly as a Moisturizer |
It's perfect to use on the face during the Winter when you are out shoveling snow...but I would hesitate to use it daily as it doesn't allow the skin to breathe. It is a shield to prevent chaffing or rash (as on a Baby's Bottom). Baby Oil is just a liquid for of Petroleum Jelly, good makeup remover in limited use, but again neither are Beauty Products and can clog pores. Thrifty yes, but not a long term beauty benefit. They are used on the skin areas where no oil glands are present. Known to be used on a Baby, bottom, hands, arms etc. Never on the Baby's face. Try a traditional moisturizer used for the face and neck for an Adult. You can find reasonably priced ones @ CVS anywhere from $5.00 and up with better results long term. Good Luck! :) ...
