RE: Young Girl's Hair Styles
I was a tomboy and never had long hair until my senior year in high school. My mom even took me to the barber shop with my brothers in the summer time. I think a lot has to do with how much the mother wants to fuss with the daughter's hair. I kept my daughter's hair short because I didn't have a clue what to do with it beside a pony tail. ... RE: Caring for a 5 Week Old Puppy
Wow, 5 week olds is very, very young to be away from its litter mates. A lot of dogs end up with biting problems because they leave their litters too young. They learn about the consequences of biting from playing with their brothers and sisters but I'm going to assume it was not your choice to get a pup so young. Back to feeding, I feed pups that young dry puppy chow from Purina and I mix it with Alpo puppy food. Just enough canned food to coat the dry. Too much canned food will give it diarrhea. I don't know how big the pup is but give him enough four times a day to fill him up and then let him have as much dry food as he or she wants. Eventually you'll be able to just feed dry food which I think is the best for dogs. I raise Australian Shepherds for the last 8 years and my dogs stay on Puppy Chow until their 9 months old. Sure hope this helps you out. ... View related article.

RE: Remedy for Flies and Gnats on Horses
I started using Bug Check for my horses this spring and boy, does it work! Give it about three weeks from the time you start feeding it and you will see the difference. I buy mine through KVvet, in the 10 lb. size. It has garlic and diatomaceous earth in it plus some other things. By the way, if you give your livestock diatomaceous earth, you do not have to worm them. ... View related article.

I too am in love with this breed! I have seven adults and a new litter of 12. Yes, I am a breeder of registered animals. Started with one as a pet, got another of the opposite sex and then, suddenly, everyone wanted a pup. That was 8 years ago. ... View related article.

RE: Get Rid of Mice Naturally With Peppermint Oil
We had trouble with mice getting into our motorhome while stored in the yard. We went to Tractor Supply and in the rat poison section there was a box containing 4 small canvas bags with some kind of natural stuff in it that keeps mice and rats away from the area you place them in. We put all four small bags in our RV four months ago and haven't seen any evidence of mice since. The bags have a nice scent to us, but apparently rodents don't like it. ... View related article.
