You can use sticky back vinyl. The vinyl is very thin.I use it for etching glass items. You can find it at print shops or order it from stainglass shops. Make your own designs. There is a home plotter called `QuicKutz" that you can use your computer for drawing the designs and tranferring them to the plotter. Glass blocks can be found at Yard Sales for 50 cents on up. The most I have ever paid is a dollar. Found a 12x12 block. Still trying to figure out what to do with it though. Also you can get a different look if you make a stand from base broads with a lip the size of the block. Drill a hole in the "base" & Use a night light/spring.
