RE: Use Lip Balm for Very Dry Feet
Yes, yes, yes, I have been doing this for years only I use the blistex brand medex in the tiny blue jar for an occasional crack in my heal. It also works for an itchy scalp as well. When I suggest this to others they just look in amazement, but it really works all over wherever there is dry itchy skin. Thanks for posting. ... View related article.

RE: Cutting Costs Around The House
There are alot of ways to cut costs, but it will take effort on everyone's part which may mean compromising convenience a bit. You would have to first sit down with a pad and pencil and jot down your expenses, like your utility/household bills including leisure expenses such as eating out at restaurants, fun centers, movies, etc. (that is if any of these things are what you do).

Then breakdown each one and see where you can shave costs on your household bills. For example, my father did something I thought was a money saver. He discontinued his comcast cable which was well over $100 per month and reopened a new account with them getting a package deal which includes premium channels/internet all for less than $100, and with his old deal he didnt even have internet service. I myself love to make alot of my things, like my clothing and cosmetics. I save a ton each month as there are so many things I no longer buy from the stores.

Whatever you can do at home for family entertainment instead of going out saves big time. Make meal menus for dinner and shop by your menus, Use coupons on items you need and price match. Also saving any spare change daily, and saving $20 a week is a big help as most people spend that much at Mcdonalds for a couple of value meals. Sorry for writing a book, but there are so many things I can think of to save you guys some money. Hope the info you receive helps. ... View related article.

RE: Uses For Single Socks
Just today, I was on my pc having a webcam chat with my sister who was cleaning/organizing her room. She showed me a basket full of single socks that she was going to throw away as she knew not what to do with them as well, and I gave her a few of ideas. I told her that I save things like that to fill pillows, or I stuff smaller socks into a bigger sock and knot on the end, it makes a good neck pillow. Filling a sock with uncooked rice and knotting the sock end is great for relaxation therapy by placing the filled sock into the microwave for 20-30 seconds and placing it onto tired muscles. Another relaxation therapy tool is taking an empty air freshner can and placing it into several pairs of socks, it makes an excellent massager to roll under your feet while sitting at your pc. I have one under my feet right now. You can also save your single socks to wear during the winter weather as a first layer of socks if you want to wear 2 pair for extra warmth. Since they are under a matching pair, no one will see that they have no match. Hope this all helps ... View related article.

RE: Getting Phone Service Without Deposit
Try Cavelier Telephone service if it is offered in your area. I know at one time they used to set up service and all charges would be on your first bill or they used to even stretch it across the first three bill payments. You can get their info online. Hope this was helpful ... View related article.

RE: Use Old Magazines As A "Step Stool"
good idea, and I am glad to hear that you secure them because magazines can be slick a bit and you can fall as they do slide. I guess because of the texture of the paper. I would probably use tape as you suggested, but maybe like duct tape to really secure it and give it some traction. I used to use an old phone book, and after some time it would just slide, tape would've prevented that. Thanks for the tip. ... View related article.
