I have a salsa recipe that when I take places I find that it appeals more to the women in the crowd than men. It's really good.
6 or 7 tomatoes chopped
1 can of chopped black olives
1 can of chopped green chilies
1 medium jar of chopped pimento
1 bunch of green onion chopped
1 8oz bottle of Wish-bone Italian Dressing
(Option you can use fat-free Wish-bone Italian Dressing for a super low fat recipe)
Combine all ingredients and enjoy! Serve with Tostito Chips.

I GOT THIS RECIPE FROM TASTE OF HOME.(I THINK) THIS IS A GREAT POTLUCK DISH OR HOLIDAY DISH. MY FAMILY ALWAYS INSIST THAT I BRING THIS. I HAVE SHARED THIS DISH WITH SOOO MANY PEOPLE. THEY ALL LOVE IT AND I'M SURE YOU WILL TOO.
CHEESY CREAM CORN
3 PACKAGES OF FROZEN NIBLET CORN
1 8-OZ AND 1 3-OZ OF CREAM CHEESE
6 SLICES OF AMERICAN CHEESE
3 TBS WATER
3 TBS MILK
3 TBS SUGAR
1/2 STICK OF BUTTER

I have a great recipes for chicken enchiladas.
1Or 2 lg cans of chicken (next size larger than tuna, not sure of oz)
1/2 jar of salsa
1/2 block of cream cheese
shredded velveeta cheese
flour tortillas
combine the chicken, salsa, cream cheese in a sauce pan. Heat until cream cheese is melted. Put a large spoonful of mixture in tortilla. Roll up and place in a casserole dish sprayed with non stick spray. Cover with shredder cheese and heat in 350 deg oven until hot and bubbly. Great dish!

I HAVE NATURAL GAS LOGS. IT'S NOT SUPER EXPENSIVE A MONTH TO USE, HOWEVER, WE LIVE IN ALABAMA AND OUR WEATHER IS NOT AS COLD AS YOURS IN VIRGINIA. MY GAS BILL JUMPS ABOUT $50 A MONTH WHEN WE USE THE LOGS. BUT, MY POWER BILLS GOES DOWN SIGNIFICANTLY.
THE ONLY THING I DO NOT LIKE ABOUT THE GAS LOGS IS THEY HAVE A SMELL. BUT I CAN'T IMAGINE IT BEING WORSE THAT THE KEROSENE SMELL.
I HAVE A 1800 SQ FT HOME AND IT HEATS MY HOME GREAT. WE CAN TURN THE LOGS TO THE LOWEST SETTING AND IT WILL HEAT THE WHOLE HOUSE JUST FINE. MY CENTRAL HEAT NEVER TURNS ON. I THINK THAT LOGS WOULD BE BETTER THAN WOOD. ... View related article. |
