RE: Improving Water Pressure
Just to add to Dibbs post. Our water dept will come out for free and test the pressure in the line at your connection. My children went on a field trip and this how I learned this. They said some people have problems with pressure and sometimes it is because of a small line or that they could increase water pressure going to the house, or that their lines need blown out that they could have air in them. ... RE: Recycling Coffee Containers
I had my children paint them, and then cut a hole in the front and then cut a slit for a twig and we have wonderful bird houses. We made some for our next door neighbor and the kids painted them with her in mind. We use craft projects for christmas presents from the children. I think it is a good idea and helps their creativity grow. If you don't have kids around maybe check out near by schools for donating them, teachers love donated items for their classrooms. ... RE: Bees Drilling Into a Wooden Porch
Hello, When I lived in AZ we called them carpenter bees, and now I live in TN and they call them borer bees. Anyways, the way we take of them is when they go in their hole we get the caulking gun and caulk their hole shut. My grandpa used to spray kerosene in the hole first. I think they always loved the unpainted wood. Hope this helps. ... View related article.

RE: Homemade Garden Hose Holder
I am adding to the pot idea. This is what I am going to do. I have a fancy hose reel and it is a pain to stand there and crank and crank. SO I am getting a big flat pot, I have found them for around 20.00 and then in the middle I am going to find a shallow bucket to coil the hose around and when it rains I can pull the bucket out and use the rain water I have collected. Just a thought. ... View related article.

RE: Monster Truck Themed Birthday Party
Maybe take boxes big enough for them to get into but not to big they walk with them. Paint them like trucks and make a little dirt track with obstacles in your yard. Let them race one another, or if they walk try using boxes they can sit in and have the parents pull them with string attached to the boxes. ... View related article.

RE: Saving Money on Bicycles
I want to add to Stew's response. Please get the helmet before your child even tries the bike! My son was hit by a car 3 1/2 years ago, when he was 15 years old. He is now 18 and we care for him at home. He was riding his bike and and wasn't wearing his helmet, because he was going to see agirl and wanted to look cool, I guess. He can't walk and can't talk and can't do much of anything. Please, please, please tell your child the story of my son if they think they are to cool not to wear one. Karen ... View related article.
