Try using baking soda and vinegar and let in foam and rub it in. It may take a couple times of reapplying, but it will come out. Don't make the carpet sopping wet, it will take too long to dry and don't vaccuum until totally dry or the sick smell might get into vac. ... View related article.

This is what salons do. They always wash twice. I save shampoo that way plus I only wash my hair 2 times a week. I do not have dirty hair either. When you wash hair everyday you overstimulate the oil glands in the scalp and it produces more oil. ... View related article.

I personally like paper. I re-use them to soak up oil from fried foods. They take the place of paper towels, which are too expensive for me. I can't stand plastic. They get eveywhere. RE: Soaking Up Bacon Grease
I saw on Paula Deen when she frys up chicken, to take the clean side of a paper bag, like from the grocery store, and use that to soak up. I used it and it works!!
