It is never too early to think about Christmas. I know because I think of it 12 months a year. I have four sons 10-17 years old. So I have been through the boys 7 th year a few times. I am crafty. I am always making something. But the one thing my boys get nearly every year is a new pillow for their beds or to carry around the house with them to relax with. Last year My youngest got a pillow I made from the left over squares from the blue jean quilt I made for my third son. Both projects use up old jeans so they dont go to waste. And if you take off the pockets and use them too its even more interesting. I even used the brand name tags on the quilts to add a little more fun. Year before that I made all of them pillows from a flame print fabric. This year they are all getting camo print pillows in honor of my oldest son joining the national guard. I color code too. But also... I don't use prints. I use regular plain colors that can be used all year long incase I have left over paper from the roll. I save a ton of cash on wrapping paper this way because I can buy it on those large rolls and not only that but I can also get it at after Christmas sales. I also have four children. all boys ...
