RE: Walking with Heel Spurs
Go to your local library and get the book, PAIN FREE. It's an excellent resource. I too had painful heel spurs and went to the foot doctor, said only shots would help, but I didn't want that! Also, Berkinstocks were great he stated. My primary doctor sent me to physical thearphy - the streatching help a bunch, but the books by far is the best help I found. ... View related article.

RE: Avoid Fabric Softener In Your Washer
I'm going to try the recipe above for making your own softener. When using softener sheets, cut them in have or even quarters if you have the large ones - they work just as good. Many times, I will reuse them over and over and they still keep working. ... View related article.

Not that I have a lot, but a couple items I can think of have barely been worn that were purchased on clearance many years ago. Instead of donating to a thirft store, I put items do donate on freecycler - then when I'm looking for items, hopefully someone will have what I'm looking for too. ... View related article.

RE: Saving Money on Soda Pop
We'll let's look at this from another point of view - your TEETH! All dark colored soda's (except Root Beer) have phosphoric acid in them. This is terrible for your teeth. Think of it, most shower cleaners are made with phosphoric acid! In addition, you can use a can of coke to clean battery terminals. Until our son was in high school, he had never had a dark colored soda. In our house, we only purchase sprite, 7-up, Shasta type sprite, etc. ONLY when it's on sale or a very low price. It is not a daily beverage in our lifestyle. Sports drinks are also terrible for your children's teeth as well. PS: Dark colored soda's are a great science project for your children with a tooth in them. See how long it takes to completely eat the tooth. Yuk! ... View related article.

RE: Use Over The Door Organizers For Crafts
Great idea! I'm needing a jewerly organizer. The only kind I can find (is online) is a double sided that has plastic on each side with pockets, but it hangs on your clothing rod. Any suggestions on where I can find something at a store or something I could make? My dresser is pretty messy with all this stuff that needs to get organized. besotes at calwisp(dot)com ...
