We'll let's look at this from another point of view - your TEETH! All dark colored soda's (except Root Beer) have phosphoric acid in them. This is terrible for your teeth. Think of it, most shower cleaners are made with phosphoric acid! In addition, you can use a can of coke to clean battery terminals. Until our son was in high school, he had never had a dark colored soda. In our house, we only purchase sprite, 7-up, Shasta type sprite, etc. ONLY when it's on sale or a very low price. It is not a daily beverage in our lifestyle. Sports drinks are also terrible for your children's teeth as well.
