RE: Making Curtains Longer
You could do a section of lace even on the drapes.
I added fabric to the bottom of my kitchen curtains . Then to cover up where had to add on I put another fabric that went along with the pattern over this aarea. You can not tell this was an add on.
One more idea look at drapes that are already made in catalogs or in the store. You can get ideas from just looking at those. I do this and then go home and make my own.

RE: Little Dress Clothspin Bag
Do not have a dress? How about a mans shirt? Works great. Just cut it off and hem. Also sew the sleeves shut ( short sleeve shirt is what I used.) Also have the pocket you can use for other things.

RE: Removing a Stain from a Baby Quilt
You might try laying the quilt in the sun only with the place of the stain exposed. Dampen this spot and let the sun do the rest.
Also quilts of any kind should not be stored in plastic bags. Store your quilt in pillow case or a cloth bag.
Also refold it every few months to keep it from having perment creases in it. I store my quilts on a bed we do not use that way I do not have to worry about folds in them.

RE: Washing Hood With Fox Fur
I have a coat that said the same thing. You do not wash the hood.
I took the fur off of mine to wash and had to sew back on. Never again. It was not hard to do but took alot of time.
Next time will just put in dryer on air only. If hood has dirty spots on it just spot clean.
Hope this helps.

RE: Extreme Barbie Makeover
What a great Idea. Just love it when we take things fix up and redo. Keep up the good work.
