| RE: Link: Free Low Income Cell Phone |
Amen to that! I could qualify for the free cell phone in NY but I prefer to pay for my own. As a cell phone isn't really a necessity and you do qualify for it, please respect the fact that your fellow citizens are footing the bill for it, respect that and don't lose it. Then we all will be paying for it twice! ... View related article. |

| RE: Washing Dry Clean Only Clothes |
Hi,I'm from Macedon,NY! I have washed many garments that say dry clean only with very good results. wool, cotton and linen always come out great, but I'm a little leery about rayon. If there is more linen than rayon, fine--but rayon is rather unpredictable. If there is more linen than rayon, put a tiny amount of woolite in your washing machine--yes-as you start filling your machine with cold water. Stir the water in the machine to get the suds going. Add the garment and short wash on gentle cycle. It should come out fine. Good luck! ... View related article. |

| RE: Cooling Tubes - How to Make Them? |
Try this idea, because it involves no sewing and it is alot faster--Take an average sized microfiber cloth and soak it with nice cool-cold water. Wring it out enough to stop it from dripping. Fold it in a triangle, put around your neck and tie it. I drive school bus, and it has been plenty hot lately. This seems to help during the two hours I am riding around in a hot tin box. I have tried the polymer ties and they don't seem to work as well, but they weren't as large as the one on the website. Anyway, give it a shot, and if you don't like it, no harm done. ... | RE: Space Bags Keep Deflating |
Yeah, I have the same problem. They tend to develop little leaks in the plastic, or sometimes in the hole you vacuum the air from. It is really annoying, especially since they are supposed to stay deflated and flat! See if you can get your money back or at least a replacement. Sometimes they actually do work. I got mine from a store called AJ Wright, like a Marshalls, and then I can take them back if they don't work. I think they have a year warranty on them. If you return them, they will get the message that they need to work to make them better. ... View related article. |

Heck, yes, there are plenty of things that are "underfoot" that you need only occasionally that would be right at home in a basket on a high shelf or over the kitchen cabinets. Use every space you can, and if a basket makes the storage easier or prettier, great! ... View related article. |
