What is the process for drying the gourds? Did he let them dry for a year, Then cut the hole, or cut the hole and let them dry? Thanks! Pam email: mptidemann AT iowatelecom.net ... View related article.
How about taking a photo of your mom, making some business cards with her photo, some little message on them, maybe the date, and a thank you for celebrating with us type thing. You can print them on the computer, I do my boss's business cards all the time! You could do them for less than $10. You could even have a variety of different picts of your mom! You could "fancy" them up by using a paper punch and tying a piece of ribbon or curling ribbon on each.
I just did my living room in those colors too. I did use kind of a chocolate color with the other two and I think it looks really nice. I found drapes and throw pillows to match, tied together nicely! Good luck!
I never made one of these, but I remember reading about it, thinking what a great idea it was. Use the good part of the leg fabric from jeans to make strip blocks, whatever shape you need, whether square, rectangle, but every so often, make sure to use a piece that has the back pocket left on. Piece the pieces together to make a picnic table tablecloth. The back pockets work to hold the silverware and napkins, keeps them from blowing off, and the weight of the tablecloth helps it stay on the table! I thought it was a great idea! Good luck!
If you take your skinless boneless chicken breast, marinade it with maybe a honey teriyaki marinade or whatever flavor you enjoy, (the bottled kind), wrap the chicken with a strip of bacon (poke with a toothpick to hold the bacon on) and grill it, it's DELICIOUS! Hope you feel better soon! Pam
Boy do I wish I'd have done that before I bought my house!!! I have to replace the roof, I found out the cistern (not being used), is not filled in, tho my seller indicated it was fine, I have replaced the upstairs faucet, fixed the tub plumbing up there, (when the plumber got into the floor, he discovered someone had placed a pie tin under the leak to catch the water...the sellers told me there was nothing wrong with it...sigh), I replaced a pipe in the kitchen, and the faucet, and the toilet downstairs, and fixed the plumbing in the tub, (the overflow wasn't hooked to ANYTHING, so if the tub was full, it went directly into the basement. Nice, eh?). Granted this is an older house, but criminy, I would have put in a MUCH lower bid had I known I was going to have to do all this!! GOOD advice from you!!
