Here's two I've used for years:
Chewy Cookies cake mix - your choice 2 eggs 1/3 c. oil 1/4 c. flour Stir together to form dough. Spoon out onto cookie sheets. Bake at 350, 10-12 mins. Use your imagination to add nuts, coconut, chocolate chips, etc.
Easy Cookies 1 chocolate cake mix 1 large egg 1/2 (8 oz) container cool whip or other whipped topping 1 c. chopped pecans or other nuts powdered sugar Combine the first three ingredients - stir well (batter will be sticky). Stir in nuts. Dust hands with powdered sugar and shape dough into small balls. Roll in powdered sugar and put 2 " apart on ungreased sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Cool on wire racks. If you are having problems around your house or deck I have a sure trick to keep them away. Blow up a small paper bag, (lunch size works perfect) tie it with string and hang it from your rafters. Works perfectly. For some reason, they will stay away. ... View related article. |

The best luck we've had is with one of those hanger boxes that you get from the mover or at a box store. They are expensive but you can sell them when you no longer need them. We tried packing them with the dry cleaner bags around them and it worked pretty good. But the box was so much better. ... View related article. |

Last time ours was pumped out, the guy told us to flush a carton of cottage cheese. He said that would get everything started back up. I have a friend that swears by using yeast (baking yeast) -- she buys the pound bag at Sam's and flushes 1/4 cup once every month or so. We've lived with septic systems for years and never had any problems. Just watch how much bleach we use (not too much at any time) and moderate the amount of stuff we put in our sink garbage disposal. ... View related article. |

I have been doing chemo for 3 years.........one tip I got from a nurse was to take the herb horsetail - I get it online called "vegetal silica" - it has helped my hair get rid of that straw feeling and also my skin isn't so dry.
