RE: Growing Vegetables in Zone 7
Thank you for the feedback. I have the garden in a location that gets full sun most of the day, but part of the problem with the small fruit may have been overcrowding. I think I underestimated the amount of space needed and tried to have too many plants in too small a space. As for the watermelons, do they get blossom end rot like tomatoes? ... RE: Removing Tape Residue From PVC Fence
There is a product at the dollar store called Awesome Cleaner. It is a yellow liquid that is only $1 for a spray bottle. It has a lot of different uses. I use it for practically everything - toilet, sinks, floors, etc. I've found that it works better than anything at getting tape residue off of things. Sometimes I spray the item and let it sit for a few minutes. Just be careful with painted surfaces - it sometimes will remove the paint or stain.

RE: Smell Out of Washer
I don't know actually, but here are some ideas: Go to the manufacturer's website and send the question to them.

Try a product that is used to eliminate odors from carpeting, like a pet odor eliminator. Check out this product: http://www.affresh.com/ I don't know if it will work for your specific problem, but may be worth investigating. Good luck. ... View related article.

RE: Are My Lemons Safe to Use?
You can still use them. Allow them to thaw at room temperature. Since I've never made marmalade, I don't know how the texture of the lemons would be because they may get mushy when thawed. If you decide not to make the marmalade, at least you can thaw as needed for use on fish or in iced tea - or make lemonade! That would be much better than wasting them. ... View related article.
