| RE: Getting Local Stations Without Cable |
You will probably need a digital converter box, but the government is giving away coupons for $40 off for the purchase of one.
I haven't had cable in over 10 years, I use a regular antenna and I don't feel like I'm missing much. If I can't find something to watch on broadcast tv, then I visit Hulu.com, YouTube or Joost. Even TVLand.com has complete episodes of some great classic shows that you can watch for free. ... View related article. |

| RE: Decorating With the Color Red |
Personally, I think a red sofa and a red couch might be distinctive and unique. While some people might think it's too bold, you should probably decorate to suit your tastes because you're the one that has to live with it. After all, some people like their chili mild, and some people like it extra spicy. Thank goodness there's enough room in the world for all kinds of tastes.
Having said that, I would suggest that you test out the red/red before committing to it. Maybe you could buy a red slipcover/sheet/blanket to put on your present couch, or even pin it up to cover your wall to see how you like it. If it matches what you want, then you can go ahead and buy the paint and the sofa. (If you do, please post pictures here so we can all see how it looks.) ... View related article. |

| RE: Psoriasis on the Scalp |
I get psoriasis on my scalp from time to time. Sometimes, Vicks helps me, but sometimes it doesn't work. If it's the "weepy" kind, I use Listerine mouthwash and it clears it right up. (I actually use the generic store brand "brown" version of Listerine most of the time.) I read something recently that said that psoriasis is a reaction to something you eat, so you might want to experiment with your diet and see if that helps. For me, if I eat a product with gluten, I have a psoriasis outbreak within 12-24 hours, so I do my best to avoid all forms of gluten. ... View related article. |

| RE: Where to Find a Dry-Erase Marker |
If you don't have hand sanitizer handy, a cheap bottle of isopropyl alcohol also does great at removing the set-in marks from most white boards. Btw, you may also be able to write directly on your fridge door with a dry erase marker, but be sure to test an inconspicuous area first. ... View related article. |
