This sounds lovely! To the point of adding different flavors, how about adding juice from strawberries? Sounds delish! ... View related article. |

| RE: Dog Food Brand Recommendations |
I thought we were feeding our first dog good, healthy food, but when we went to adopt our second dog, I found out from the rescue group that the food wasn't quality. When you feed a quality food, the dog will poop less, and their vet visits will be cheaper because they'll live healthier. I also learned from our groomer I was feeding the dogs the wrong amount of food. Like LuvMyFurKids recommended, I would ask your vet to make sure you're feeding the correct amount.
Once we adjusted our feeding amount, our 15-lbs. bag of food went from lasting close to a month to well over a month and a half. We feed the boys Fromm food and pay $23 for a 15-lbs. bag. But when were were getting The Good Life Recipe from Walmart, we were paying about $9 for a smaller bag (not sure if it was about 7-lbs.?). So the price for a really good, A+ food didn't jump much. And we feed them less since the new food has no fillers, by-products, the gross stuff.

| RE: Fruit Bread |
I have maybe a dumb question. Is that baking soda the recipe calls for or really just any kind of soda, like soda pop? Thanks.
Editor's Note: I'm sure it's baking soda. ... View related article. |

| RE: Recommendations for a Steam Mop |
|
I also bought a Shark Steam mop, mine from Bon-Ton. I honestly didn't look at any other mops. I had seen the infomercial a long time ago for this mop, but didn't want to spend the money on it. Then two coworkers each bought one and they had me sold for sure. It's easy and fast to use, and the two pads it comes with are machine washable. ... View related article. |

| RE: Using AAA When Keys Are Locked In the Car |

I've had to call AAA twice to unlock my car, which does have power windows. Both times I was in different cities, so different contracted companies came out and neither mentioned to me about any possible damage. And no damage occured. ... View related article. |

| RE: Buying a Secondhand Laptop |
|
I've heard that mini laptops, called netbooks, are like the new wave of laptops, but they are less expensive, smaller, have not as big operating systems, but are perfect for certain groups of people who don't need as much. I've seen netbooks listed for around $250-$300. I'd be leary about purchasing a laptop on eBay, so if a netbook sounds like it'd fit you, I'd check into it. ... View related article. |

| RE: Keeping a House With Pets Clean |
|
We have a dog that doesn't shed and another who does. I got the Furminator (http://www.furminator.com/shedless.cfm) as a gift for the dog that sheds. Check out the website. If your dogs are small, maybe you could purchase the smallest one. This deshedding tool is kind of costly, but I found them on Amazon for much better prices than pet stores charge. Hopefully, with regular brushing, this could work for you. ... View related article. |

| RE: Is My Son a Vegetarian? |
I can relate to your son in the way he will eat poultry and a burger from McDonald's but not one made at home. I also (and have for years) picked the meat out of spaghetti sauce. I agree it could be a texture issue he has. While I'm not a vegetarian to the full extent, I have continued my picky eating habits I developed when I was younger.
As for not liking meat, he could just be disgusted by it. I try not to order pasta dishes with chicken in them from restaurants anymore because it seemed each time I would, I would get a fatty piece, grossing me out. Same with hamburger -- the gristle is just disgusting. I was even leary when my husband and I began eating ground chicken. Would he enjoy dressed up veggies? For instance, I really liked the brussel sprouts my mom made when she covered them with cheese, but I couldn't eat them plain. ... View related article. |

| RE: Apple Cider for Acid Reflux |
|
Yes, I have. I am a technician in a pharmacy and one of my coworkers had the same problem of reflux. When she told us she'd read online that this worked and she was trying it, we all thought she was crazy. But she claimed it actually worked. She also was not supposed to drink alchol with drinking apple cider (she actually ate an apple instead) because I guess the alchol didn't work with it. Good luck. ... View related article. |
