RE: Homemade Stain Remover
Hello, can you tell me what percentage peroxide you buy please? In my chemists you have to stipulate which strength you want. Thank you :) ... View related article.

I was going to recommend the potato method too. Tried and tested here too. Glad someone beat me to it :)

RE: Removing Lipstick Stain on Silk
I have heard that WD-40 will remove lipstick stains but I am not sure if this will work on silk but you could try a tester patch.
Put a spot of WD-40 on your blouse in an inconspicuous place (under the arm for example) and then wash as you would normally. If there is no sign or residue of it then you could try it.
Saturate the lipstick stain with WD-40 and then rewash. It should come out perfectly.

Good luck,
Monique :) ... View related article.

RE: Cooking "Salad Beans"
Thank you for leaving feedback.
I am sad they didn't add the picture I sent in because they are beautiful little gems.
I have a new recipe with lentils and turkey which I will add soon.
I do like all this experimenting though I don't actually like to cook normally!
Any recommendations would be gratefully received too.

Monique :)

RE: Banana and Cocoa Mush
That's always the way Tejasridgerunner.
I only like new bananas to eat and dislike them when they become ripe...now I know what to do with them.
It's so very simple and a delicious chocolately treat without the sugar and calories. I am so pleased to share my tip with you all.
Thanks for leaving comments :)

RE: Use Listerine in a Spray Bottle for Many Uses
I see some of the uses of Listerine. Can it be any flavor to receive the benefits? Can you sanitize your toothbrush in Listerine and if so, how?

Anyone else with tips for Listerine? Thanks. Linda

Any flavour is OK, I use the mild minty one but any will do, they all have the same anti-bacterial effect.
For your toothbrush just soak the head in a capful -prop it up by a wall or a large object to save on pouring lots into a cup. Better still use an empty denture tablet tube. It stands up by itself and you only need enough Listerine to cover the head saving you money!

RE: Removing Dog Urine from Cement
Try a can of full on sugary Coca-Cola. Sounds odd but it does remove blood and egg from concrete so I am hoping urine would be a breeze for it. Leave it on the stain a while then rinse off with clean water.
Please let us know how you get on, I will cross my fingers for you!

Best wishes
