My interests are painted plywood yard art in which I am new to and want to get started a soon as the weather gets nicer as I have no wood shop as of yet.  I am not a wealthy person but do like doing art.  I will post some of my art as soos as I get the pictures.  I would like to meet others with similar interests and share ideas, techniques and money saving tips.  Thanks for your time.  Anatole

RE: Removing Paint on Leather Sofa
Tony,
This may be a long shot but worth a try. Get a blow dryer (not a heat gun) and put it on its highest setting. Heat up the paint over a long period of time by trying get it to become elastic as it is acrylic and is a type of plastic paint. See if you can very slowly and carefully peel it from your leather sofa without anything but trying to lift it up with your fingernails. If that doesn't work possibly a gentle organic chemical type paint remover dabbed on very carefully and sparingly by working it in to the paint and gingerly try to dab up with soft absorbent paper towel. You could ask an upholstery cleaner for their professional opinion, they might have just the right procedure, Hope this helped. :) ... View related article.

RE: Leftover Peel and Stick Tiles for Weatherstripping
I thought that was a very helpful suggestion and at my work place we have a door that needs help as it is probably an inch off of the floor. "Very" drafty. I hope you have the ability to control where you heat your house. I have actually hanged plactic sheeting in doorways to trap heat in a room. It seemed to work well enough. My brother in law is also a frugal person and has a quartz heater where he hangs blankets in front of the living room for the family (3 of them) and they just stay in there evenings. I hope you are all doing well. Stay Warm! :) ... View related article.

RE: Selling Plywood Yard Art
Hi Meoowmom,
For some reason this site won't let me send you a message so I'll have to post it here. Even when I am logged in it says that I am not? Anyway the blue cat is not my work, I just loved the pic because it was inspiring and hope to do quality work like it. I will post some pics as soon as I can. Take care! Anatole :) ... RE: Temporary Relief for a Toothache
Anbesol, you can buy it at WalMart if they have it in stock. I have used this product over the years and recommend it. Get extra strength if available in liquid, and apply it with your finger. ... View related article.

RE: Selling Plywood Yard Art
To Karen,
I am not sure if I'll be doing it online as of yet but I have a desire to create yard art. I like Harlean's suggestion of trying to set up somewhere on grass so you can see the work in a natural setting. She says it sells better that way. Have a good one! Anatole :) ... View related article.

RE: Selling Plywood Yard Art
Hi 1027 Debbie,
Thanks for your reply as you have made my day and I am excited about starting my plywood yard art. I loved the wreath idea and since I don't have a work shop I have to wait for better and warmer weather. I lived in British Columbia nearly seven years but that was a very long time ago. I lived as far north as Dawson Creek BC. but mostly lived in the Cranbrook and Kimberly area though. Wow, those were the days! It was great getting your post, I hope we may have correspondence again. Best wishes! Anatole ... View related article.
