RE: Product Review For Colonix
For a help with the colon, at first you'll say like I did, now how can this work, but it realy does, I'm not saying its a cure all but it will give you relief and get things working in a good direction. There are 2 ways to try this. I read in a book from the 1920's (1) that if you need help with a BM, to drink warm as you can stand water before going to bed. When you wake in the morning drink some room temperature water. Yes it works, sounds strange being something so simple ! (2) Receintly came across this. Or have a tablespoon of olive oil before bed and in the morning drink warm as you can stand water. It takes awhile, eveyone is different, it might work for you right away after the drink in the morning or give your body a day or 2 to think over what its next move will be, but it works. No side effects outside of RELIEF ! I use this one more offen. I also interchange them as I don't eat the same foods at the same times every day. And yes fiber, fruits, and vegetables and Fresh prunes ..... not those dryed up ones that have been around for months, all make a big difference. Hope this helps someone. ... View related article.

RE: Kids II Inc. Recalls Crib Toys Due to Choking Hazard
Hi, I just wanted to say Thank You for the heads up about this produce, and for ThriftyFun with your send to a friend option. Our daughter who lives in MN., we are here in WI, who I sent it to after reading about it here. She has blessed us with another little bundle of love, so I thought she may want to see this. Not knowing what they might have gotten for gifts, and yes they did get one for a gift. They tried to get it up and said they were having trouble with it, so put it aside for now, she's glad she did. Said she was going to return it ASAP. Just want to Thank You Again. ... View related article.

RE: Storing Crochet Patterns
This is truly a great way to keep your patterns. I have done this for a long time. As I had them ready and put away I came up with a different problem. How which binder did I put it into ? Thats when I started to seperate all the patterns I had, into doilies, purses, motifs, once you do this you'll find out you have more then you thought you had. This way when I'm looking for something special for the baby, or for some ones kitchen, I go to the binder that I have labled with white contact paper just what is in it. Right now I have 32 binders .... thats just my crocheted patterns. I wish I'd be as origanized with other things, but my patterns are treasures to me. ... View related article.

RE: Holder for Crochet Hooks
A plastic toothbrush holder for traveling works good for your steel hooks, put a needle theader, some small brass safety pins (for marking where you have to go into in some time and when you have to finish, so you don't pull what you have done already out, place pin through the 2 top threads (v of that chain), therefore securing that last (for now) stitch. ... RE: How To Get a Vintage Look When Matting Pictures
Hi, the matting inside corners should have cut out corners of some kind. Start looking through magazines, a cross-stitch magazine, or what ever you have to get a look at the different styles of framing that could be done on a framed picture. Draw out a rough stetch of it and take it to a frame maker with what you have to put in it. They should and will be very helpful to what would look the best and of corse, the price is up to you. Good Luck, hope this is some kind of help. ... View related article.

RE: Removing Tight Rings
Had quite an episode when out by my brother's place. Was doing dishes when I took my hand out of the water and my sterling silver ring was dark black, (his water was bad) well I just didn't know what to do and on the counter there was a bottle of Olive Oil, so I opened the bottle and poured it out on my ring (which is not an easy ring to get off) and turning it a bit each way, getting the oil under the ring, it slipped off with NO PROBLEM. I was amazed at how well and quick it worked. Put it in my pocket untill we got home. Then to cleaning it, my husband had looked up on web how to clean sterling silver and it said to softly put (with a soft cloth) toothpaste on it, while rinsing that off, used a tooth brush to get all of the toothpaste off. And I wannta tell ya, it sparkled like I've never seen before. Needless to say, now the ring comes off before I do the dishes ! ... View related article.

RE: Big Roller Foot For a Sewing Machine
The back roller which is solid, makes it draw the fabric out as it is coming in , how can I say this to be understood,....... all the fabric which is under the needle and to the front and back rollers is in a balanced way. Even to the outside edge of the fabric and thats whats really important. Doesn't sound like much, but sure does make a difference. As long as the back roller is solid, the foot has the control of the fabric, no matter how far or close to the edge of the fabric you are. The foot has control of fabric as its going back and at the same time across it, like a the letter T, think of the top of the T as the back roller and the bottom part of the T in center, the needle, now put the front roller on at bottom, in motion and its like a steam roller coming at ya! Except the fabric is going away from you. I hope that this makes sence to you.
The 1/2" roller foot is just NOT big enough to make a difference. It just don' t make it. Its like a toy not a tool. ... View related article.

RE: Big Roller Foot For a Sewing Machine
Thank you Susan, some how months ago I emailed them, sent the same picture that you see here. Only to be told that they did not have it. So I am still looking, more so now then ever as I have the machine up for the Grandaughter that lives here in town.

If there is anyone who may have one and does not use it, I will buy or trade, just let me know what you have in mind.

I bought this 10-15+ years ago, if that helps anyone. Just am not sure, could have been from the .... Sew/Fit Company, which I think was bought out by Quilters Rule, not sure. Have contacted both of them some time ago and got nowhere about the foot.

I'm sure they didn't fall off the face of the earth!
