RE: Taking Big Pills
My mother crushes a piece of banana and put the pills in the middle of a spoonful. When she has had 'enough' of banana, she uses a spoonfool of gelly or creamcheese or any other soft fruit pulp (papaya, avocado). As she takes 5 pills twice a day, she changes flavors to help.
In Europe, they have a type of medical, thin waffer, the same used by catholics at Mass, in which you wrap the pill and just wet it a tiny bit with water and swallow. If you can find these waffers or check with a priest where they can be bought (the ones before being blessed, obviously), is granted to help. ... View related article.

RE: Uses for Plastic Easter Eggs
Drill several small holes on the egg, making one larger at the top and at the bottom. Fill with potpourry or scented cotton ball. Take an embroidery floss and place a large bead on the bottom, run the floss inside the egg and out at the top hole, finishing with another large bead. Double back the floss to make a hanger.Glue a tiny bow on. Use it on your dress hangers in the closet. When the smell is weaker, inject a little more of your perfume inside the egg, through the holes.Use syringe. Mind that you use only one type of scent per closet! ... View related article.

You can place a candle inside it but take care that it won't drip on the pewter.
You can hang them for xmas decor, placing a tiny bird inside each and hanging by a ribbon/bow. ... View related article.

RE: Mother's Day and Father's Day Craft Ideas
a. For both days, you can make bookmarkers, with ribbons and beads for Mom and painted on card for Dad. Paint on initials or zodiac symbols for more personalized items.

b. Decorate old bottles (wine, gin) with glued on beads or with sea sand (nicer than common sand) and use for a single flower or a nice dry berry branch or wheat. If you can cut the bottles, make them into candle holders.

c. make special dinner sets from felt/fabric or woven ribbons.

RE: Church Easter Ideas
You could make a table with 'Easter in different cultures', with books, eggs, cross, recipes, crafts, history of their uses, etc.
For a religious display you will have to use the purple color as base.
You can also make a table decor for kids, making a Bunny house from styrofoam. E-mail me if I can help with more info. sylvia@evadin.com.br ... View related article.

RE: Poll: Do you make recycled crafts?
You can use old CD's to make wall 'paintings'. Just need a painter's canvas (cheap), latex or acrlylic paint for base color and dimensional paint to decor CD with geometric figures (the best,I think), specially the mandala type. Spray-warnish to finish. They light up any darker corner (eg. between doors, corridor)
