Wal-Mart has them. I believe they are in 1 lb. packages. They are very good & reasonably priced.
Please tell us about your goal & how your venture is going! My son is a Marine: his wife is in the Navy & working toward being a Naval nurse & officer. My son has done one stint in Iraq, & has been told to be ready to go again.
I have another son that's in Iraq now, he is with KBR helping the military. One of his jobs is to rescue military vehicles of all sorts that have broken down. He's working out in the middle of the fighting just like the soldiers, the big difference is that he's not allowed to carry a gun.
So, you can see why your quest is interesting to me & most likely other reading your post!
1 1/2 c. butter 6 eggs 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 c. flour 2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts) 3 1/3 c. or 12 1/2 oz. pkg. creamy double Dutch frosting mix
Cream shortening in large bowl on high speed. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Gradually add sugar, continue creaming at high speed until light and fluffy. By hand, stir in frosting mix and walnuts until well blended.
Pour batter into well greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Cool 2 hours before removing from pan.
(Tips: Before taking out of oven, check with a toothpick or test after 60 minutes by observing a dry, shiny brown-type crust. Cake will have a wet center called "tunnel of fudge". ... View related article.

Sound really yummy! But, I have to ask since it will make a BIG difference in how the fudge turns out...........what size is "small can" of evaporated milk? Thank you, Donna

Thanks for the craftster.org website.....neat place, but I didn't find any skull caps, or patterns for any. I'll go back & check more thoroughly....I might find something else there I can use!
To everyone: Just in case my request was misunderstood... A skull cap is called that because it covers the upper part of your head or skull, thus the name "skull cap". It is just a covering for your head that pretty much covers just the top of the head like a bandana did for us years ago. Except the skull cap has a flap that sort of hangs down in back, & the cap has ties that tie in the back (over the flap) to make the skull cap snug to the head. The print on the cotton material is a matter of choice, & has nothing to do with the name skull cap, though I guess you could have a skull print on the material, if you so choose. My son might like that.....his momma wouldn't!!! lol
Please, somebody out there, help me find some patterns (or even one), if you can!!!
Drop a half stick of Wrigley's Doublemint chewing gum down each hole. I know this method is disputed here & there, but all I know is that my lawn is now mole-free!!! I do NOT use poisons on anything, so I was thrilled to find this method. Every few years or so, if we find mole holes, we just drop in more sticks of doublemint gum again, but it's a cheap & easy method that works every time for us! Give it a try.....what have you got to lose?! Good luck, Donna in southeastern Kansas ... View related article.
