I was married when I was in my early 20s to a career military officer.  The military life taught all of us (both husbands and wives) to be frugal--I learned alot of tricks to save--but--I am always looking for new ways to do old things.

I have 2 grown children--a son and a daughter and they are both married--they too have learned to be frugal.

I love to travel, read, paint (pictures-not walls)cook and bake. And, I love having a garden although I think I have a "brown thumb".
