RE: Removing Cat Odors from a House
I know vinegar is good for removing cat odors.. if it were me, I would try mopping the floor with vinegar/water solution, putting bowls of vinegar out and spraying it around. The vinegar smell goes away once it dries. If you can boil some vinegar and water on a stove and let the steam get around the place, that would be great as well. Good luck! ... View related article.

RE: Treating Fleas with WD-40
I also live in the country in Florida and have a terrible flea problem. I do use the lime dust for running off fleas, and it is pretty inexpensive, but I don't think it is a definite cure, just helps keep them from being as bad as they could be. I would like to have any information on this also; any ideas are greatly appreciated. ... View related article.

RE: Puppy Wants to Sleep in Our Bed
I have been watching and reading about a method.. cesar millan. he is on National Geographic, the show called the dog whisperer.. he is great.. my 3 dogs have completely changed.. if you google his name you will find his website with a lot of great tips.. he mostly says you are the boss and the dog wants to belong to a pack, so making them do things on your terms is the key. ... RE: Having Pygmy Goats as Pets
Stacey

Thank you so much! That is a lot of good information and the way we are wanting to do our goats. Tying with the dog tie out and making a light movable shelter. I am so glad to hear how well it works for you. Do you have just one goat? I heard from several people that they get lonely. I will be home most of the time to keep an eye on him but I don't want him sad either. Thanks. ... View related article.

RE: Having Pygmy Goats as Pets
Thank you for the advice! I really didn't think that sounded right. The lady said that they have a thick inner skin, but I tend to spoil my animals and was really not comfortable about leaving them outside. I didn't know they didn't eat any kind of weed, but that is ok. They will be more like pets. We have some old tires laying around and will put them out for them to climb on and such too. I am really trying to learn about them so that I can be prepared before we do get them and bring them home. Any advice appreciated! ... View related article.

RE: Borax vs. Salt for Fleas
kicki..

I have heard that apple cider vinegar mixed with water repels fleas.. I wonder if you could send that as well for the soldiers to spray on them to repel fleas? I dont think it would bother their skin do you? I know rubbing alcohol is also good for itching, dries up the bite and stops itch and is cheap. ... View related article.
