| RE: Holiday Veggie or Fruit Tree |
|
Very cute! Another idea is in a large rectangle pan, pour a bottle of ranch dressing and cover the bottom, then make a Christmas tree out of broccoli, surround it by cauliflower to make 'snow', and 'decorate' the tree with carrot slices, pepper slices or strips to make garland, cherry tomatoes etc. Be creative! It's always a big hit! Only problem with these kind of veggie platters is that people don't like to ruin them!! ... View related article. |

| RE: Indestructible Dog Bed |
|
For those that think my dog is spending too much time in her crate, let me just explain that she is only in there for about 3 1/2 hours a day. It's not like we're gone for 9-10 hours. She has toys in her crate (nyla-bones and strong rubber balls) but she tears up her bedding. If she destroyed her dog bed, I'm sure she'd destroy a pillow with a sheet over it. I hadn't thought of an army blanket. I'll try to look for one. Other suggestions are welcome! Thanks! ... View related article. |

| RE: Dog Tearing Up Papers |

Thanks for all the suggestions. I put her back in her crate today each time I left the house and I think we're all happier now. She's not getting in trouble and getting yelled at when we get home and we're happier to see her and more willing to play with her because we're not mad at her. Hopefully she'll outgrow this stage quickly and she can roam the house again while we're out, but until then.... ... View related article. |

| RE: Sudsy Roxy (Lab and Border Collie Mix) |
|
OMG!! I have Roxy's twin! We never knew for sure what she was a mix of, but we got her from a rescue last winter and was told she was a lab/shephard mix. Her brother had shephard markings but the long ears of a lab. Our neighbors told us that they thought she was part Border Collie because of her herding instincts. She's a great dog whatever she is but I promise you she's Roxy's twin! :-) They have the same markings from what I can see in the pic and the same build as well! ... View related article. |
